We offer affordable and high quality film transfers of regular 8mm, Super 8mm, 16mm film, and 35mm slides to DVD, Digital video, or harddrive. We use only professional grade DVDs, video tapes, and HD broadcast telecine equipment. We'll digitize your 8mm, Super 8mm, or 16mm film with HD quality, uncompressed, to maintain the highest quality encode to DVD, or output to digital file.   All of your original films will be returned with your order, cleaned and lubricated, so they are returned to you in better shape then when we received them!

WHAT’S OUR PROCESS – WHY ARE WE BETTER?

A couple of things to know about our process and how we transfer your film.

Our process starts with carefully cleaning your film to remove any dust or debris, and repair any splices.

We utilize a “sprocketless” drive for our 8mm and Super 8mm film. This protects your film from the potential damage typically found on other sprocket driven projectors and transfer devices. This is extremely critical with older, more brittle film. The benefit you will see is no more film “jitter” because of worn sprocket holes.

Our light source is a “no heat”, super-bright LED light. Your film will never be burnt or stressed by a hot lamp.

Our process also utilizes an Enlarged Gate that allows access to 100% of the film frame. Our broadcast 3 chip HD camera views the image from the “Emulsion” side of the film to give you better color and saturation and hides more of the scratches that may be on the film. (Most of our competition images off the softer, base side of the film.)
The end result is that you will have a flicker free image that is sharp corner to corner with no hot spot.

 35MM Slide Transfers 

 We can scan any 2” x 2” (std 35mm slide, 50mm x 50mm) mounted slide with our automated scanners (maximum scanning area is 37mm x 37mm).   We utilize the latest equipment that incorporates DIGITAL ICE Technology that works from within the scanner - during the scanning process.   This provides a clear, authentic base image that improves the original image.  

The light source on our scanners use a cool white & infrared LED array, so your 35mm slides are never exposed to any heat! 

 - Digital ICE (Image Correction & Enhancement): Removes defects or scratches on the surface of the film without losing any details or any other elements of the original image.
 - Digital ROC (Restoration of Color): Restores color, brings faded color of old films or slides back to life. 
- Digital GEM (Grain Equalization & Management): Reduces the effect of film grain. The resulting images are sharp, clear, and devoid of grain clumping or graininess
